MILLENNIALS ON THE CATWALK OF DOLCE & GABBANA fall 2017
Last Sunday was the so hyped Dolce & Gabbana ‘’Millennial Celebrities’’ packed show, the italian house made a long waited internet campaign with these new princes and princeses since last summer at the women’s spring 2017 show were the front row was a VIP only with just digital elite names sitting at the privilaged chairs.
Not only these cool kids protoganized their lastest campaign but now they are sitting in the gold gilted thrones of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
The show started with a bang with heartthrobs Cameron Dallas (Internet Celebrity) and Austin Mahone (Singer) following them were billboard worthy names such as Avan Jogia (Actor), Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis (Actor’s Daniel Day-Lewis son and model), Marcus Butler (Internet Celebrity), Diggy Simmons (Run DMC’s Rev Run son), Chase Hill (Model’s Taylor Hill brother), Tinie Tempah (Hip-Hop singer), Jim Chapman (Internet Celebrity), Juanpa Zurita (Internet Celebrity), Luka Sabbat (Model, social media sensation and aspiring fashion designer) and Presley Gerber (Model’s Cindy Crawford son and show regular to D&G).
The collection also showed part of the womenswear, among the princesses who modeled them were Immy Waterhouse (Social media sensation and Model), Caroline Daur (Blogger), Lala Rudge (Blogger), Yumi Dondo (Instagram sensation), Pyper America (Social Media sensation and Model), Sistine and Sophia Stallone (Sylvestre Stallone’s daughters) and Sofia Richie (Lionel Richie’s daughter and social media sensation) who also made debut at her first Chanel show at the Métiers d’Art at the Ritz Paris last month.
D&G designer duo told the press that the show was named ‘’The New Princes’’ and that in some ways these incredible good genes looking and internet royalty guys and girls reminded them when they were the italian sensation and almost royalty status when the house started.
With more than a hundred looks walking down the fairytale like runway also acompanied thousands of likes, shares, retweets (the show also counted with it’s own hashtags, #DGMillenials and #DGPrinces) there were also screamings outside the building. It may be the start of a new almost boyband-like mania, a Dolce & Gabbana mania that is.
