BOTANIC GARDEN OF ROME

A couple of weeks ago we shared with you a complete guide about Rome, but there is one special place in this city we loved so much that we wanted to make a dedicated post, it’s ORTO BOTANICO DI ROMA.

This garden it’s a hidden paradise situated in the quartier of Trastevere, just next to Giannicolo. Inside you will find all kind of plants and different types of gardens, but the most incredible ones are the Bamboo forest  and Japanese garden.

The price is 8€, while it’s 4€ for residents of the Trastevere.

It’s absolutely beautiful place to spent an afternoon at, surrounded by a total relax and singing birds. Of course, the best moment to visit it it’s spring, while all the plans of the Japanese garden are blooming and create a gorgeous frame over the view of the city.
